About Built to Learn
Built To Learn evolved from the original "Sheltered Workshop" and was established as a for-profit commercial trust in 1997. The purpose of the trust was to allow any profits generated by Built to Learn to be transferred to the Excel Society in support of its mandate in serving persons with disabilities. The Built to Learn retail location enables us to achieve this goal through sales of kindergarten and children's furniture, custom office furniture and an effective upholstery service business.
All profits derived from the sale of our fine products are distributed to the Excel Society for various uses within the organization and the community. We assist the Excel Society in "Enriching Lives by Enabling Potential".
Our upholstery division has 40 years of experience specializing in the reupholstery of commercial, residential and office furniture.
